Tristan is extremely stubborn, strong-willed and very animated. He loves when people pretend to get hurt, watching America’s funniest home videos, people being silly.
Tristan was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma on June 19th, 2017. Before his diagnosis, he got an upper respiratory infection, then stopped walking. He started holding onto things while standing and his balance seemed off.
He has been through months of chemotherapy, high dose chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, high dose Brain and spine radiation. He still does not walk. He has a feeding tube that runs for 22 hours a day and has to wear a backpack with his machine in it. He also has a programmable shunt.
Tristan is a warrior! With everything that he has been through and still going through, he has a smile on his face. He is a fighter for sure. He is about to start a clinical trial out of state, due to his cancer returning.
