Reid is pretty quiet. He loves to read, write stories and draw. Reid laughs at just about anything. He’s in the advanced classes at school and wants to be a pathologist when he gets older.

Reid was diagnosed with cancer when he was five years old in 2011. He had a bump on the top of his head for a few years. His pediatrician kept telling us that it was a cyst and that it would eventually go away. When he went to the ENT to have tubes put in I asked him to remove it.

Reid has had over 18 surgeries. He had 6 months of chemo and still has MRIs and CT scans every 3 months. His cancer is lifelong cancer to where we need to watch him closely.
