Jayden has been battling B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia since November 2021. He had leg and back pain for a few weeks prior to diagnosis. He also had intermittent fevers. We finally took him to the ER when he was having shortness of breath and tachycardia.

Jayden has had bone marrow biopsies, multiple lumbar punctures with intrathecal chemo, IV chemotherapy as well and daily oral chemo. He has had multiple blood, platelet, and plasma transfusions. He has been hospitalized for critical glucose levels and liver problems due to the side effects of chemotherapy.

Our son has had a part of his childhood taken from him. He will never be able to take back what cancer has stolen. Cancer has changed our lives forever. We love harder, we hug and kiss longer, and we don’t take people and the time we have with them for granted.
