In the fall of 2023, Jaxxon started feeling very weak, having leg pains, and having a funny walk. He also had less of an appetite & looked very pale. He was diagnosed with ALL soon after.
He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and regularly has spinal taps/bone marrow biopsies.
We face many challenges, recently I just had a newborn so I’m on unpaid maternity leave & my husband used up all his PTO. So financially it’s been rough on top of mentally dealing with the diagnosis. We have to limit visitors and certain outings just to keep Jaxxon safe since he is technically considered immune-compromised. Jaxxon has been so traumatized from this experience and we are trying to help him cope with this new condition.
