Eva is very shy.She is an independent little girl loves to be with her little cousin that are like her sisters. She has 3 girl cousins and two boys cousins. She loves anything that has to to with pretend play and barbies. She is very sassy and smart.
In the spring/summer of last year, she just wasn’t herself. She had been very grumpy fighting with other kids. Like hitting like she never had. Then she started with high fever and not sleeping at night along with complaining about leg pain. At night she had high fevers then next time around low fevers. Every time we went to doctor they would telling us it’s was growing pain. We had to rush her to the emergency room because she started to complain about neck pain. They suggested to bring her to see a chiropractor. So I did and that doctor told me she was very stiff so I needed to bring her to her pediatrician. I brought her back to the emergency room and they told me that there was nothing the right dose of Tylenol could fix. Then we we discharged. But we’re back at the emergency room Saturday morning cause she keep having fever of 101.2 and crying non stop. Which this was not her self. So they told me they would keep us over night to monitors her and do more labs. She was officially diagnosed with ALL on June 4th, 2018.
Eva’s treatment plan consists of chemo once a week and lumber punctures every 6 weeks. I’m a single mother and had to stop working to bring my daughter for treatments and take care of her. She can’t go to school because her immune system is so weak.
Through all of this, Eva surprises me at every moment. She is a strong will child. When she sees me crying, she reminds me that it’s all going to be ok because God is on outside.
