When Eliana was younger than a year I noticed doing her hair would hurt her. As she grew, baths and shampooing her head would also hurt. Finally a bump showed up on her head. Then she came to a place where she could no longer sit up. We rushed her to the hospital and they reconfirmed what they thought was happening.
She was diagnosed August 2018 with Langerhans Cell Histeocytosis. Her imaging showed that the LCH had eaten her bone on her skull, jaw, rib, and hip.
She began Chemo in August, going weekly until October. Then she was able to go every 3 weeks. In June of 2019, we were informed it flared back up and they had to change the treatment. We now will be going 4 days a week every other week. It has taken a toll on our family but are thankful she is healing!
We believe she will be completely healed soon!
