Jacob was diagnosed with ATRT on Feb 14th after being unable to walk straight. He had a brain tumor removed on Feb 16th and has been on treatment since then. He Will have a 5th chemo cycle + proton radiation. Besides the common limitations due to chemo, he does not have any limitations post-surgery.
Our life has changed completely, from having a healthy little boy to having our boy diagnosed with a life-threatening disease. We live in fear of losing our precious boy but this has brought us closer in prayer.
Jaysen was diagnosed with leukemia in October of 2023. He had a very high fever for 5 days straight and lots of pain when he walked.
He has had a bone marrow biopsy, a port placement surgery, several lumbar punctures, and weekly chemotherapy. Our family has had to make plenty of sacrifices because of treatment.
We enjoy every single moment that we can to the fullest.
Liam was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma on November 14, 2023. Before his diagnosis, he had a growth on his right side. He completed 14 rounds of chemo, had 2 surgeries to remove the tumor, and had a medical port in his chest.
We are more grateful to God for all the little and big things! Liam rang the bell on July 19th!

Abigail was diagnosed with lymphoma on February 3, 2024. She was always getting sick and then all of a sudden she couldn’t even sit up without being in severe pain which led to more blood work and a colonoscopy which is how we found the cancer.
She is doing several different chemos and immunotherapy. Plus the steroids and antibiotics she is taking. She gets lumbar punctures every 21 days, and of course, lots of blood work done.
Abigail is a fighter without a doubt, Through it all she has kept her head up and stayed positive.
Audrey was diagnosed with AML on January 3rd. She is currently in remission!! She is one spicy and full of life 2 year old. She has two older brothers that she adores. Her dad, Jeremy, also had leukemia when he was 2 years old so this really hit home and was hard for me.
Before her diagnosis, she was moody, easily irritated, didn’t want to eat, and was sometimes listless. We went in on July 4th, 2023 to see ER doctor. They did labs and we were quickly careflighted to Cook Children’s in Fort Worth. After 3 days- they didn’t find anything. We went home and on Jan 4t, 2024 she awoke with a horrible bloody nose. We came to Cooks and here we are.
Her diagnosis required her and I to pretty much live in the hospital. Her treatments are a month long at a time so we pretty much live here which leaves my husband and 2 boys (ages 6 and 5) at home. It has really been a season of growth.
Adriana was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL in May of 2023. She had a fall at school and began complaining of leg pain. Took several ER trips and different pediatricians for a diagnosis.
This has made me appreciate every moment with her. It’s brought me closer to her in ways I didn’t know I needed. We have both learned to live life in the moment.
