Logan is a very adventurous and active boy. Prior to his diagnosis, he was always playing outdoors and was active in a lot of sports. He loves hanging out with friends and being silly. He loves soccer, basketball and volleyball. He loves Pokemon and enjoys playing video games like Fortnite. He has a slapstick kind of humor and he laughs at people being silly or ridiculous.
Logan was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) in February of this year. His symptoms started with dizziness and nausea and then progressed to vision issues and stiffness/numbness on the left side of his body. His mobility has not regained normalcy since then.
He has had several scans and a brain biopsy. He has had 30 radiation sessions and plenty of required lab work. He is also on a clinical trial and he is taking a clinical drug. During spring break time he had an infection and ended up inpatient for 10 days. He cannot walk or stand unassisted and cannot sit without support. He is currently in a wheelchair. He also gets tired easily.
Cancer has absolutely changed our lives in so many ways; not all are bad but our stress levels have certainly increased. Logan is also very conscious of how he looks due to the diagnosis (hair loss and weight gain). It has been very hard for him going from active to static and he feels like he is a prisoner in his own body.

Callan is a ray of light! He is 3 yrs old and loves his big brother and Super Mario. Life’s smallest things make him so happy. We go for walks, throw rocks in the river, play at the park, and ride bikes. He is happiest with Mom, Dad, and his brabbo (brother).
Callan was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) on April 9th 2023. Before he was diagnosed, he was experiencing problems with his balance and had facial paralysis.
Callan does not currently have any limitations but will be starting radiation soon. His cancer diagnosis has forever changed our lives.

Leah is a comedian and she loves arts & crafts. She loves nature and building Lego. She is truly one of a kind.
Leah was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) in July of 2021. Prior to her diagnosis, she had a change in her eye sight, was imbalanced, and had delayed speech.
Leah is currently doing radiation and requires the use of a wheelchair. We (her parents) are not working so that we can be with her every step of the way.

Gabriel was diagnosed with DIPG on March 10, 2021. He was having really intense headaches that were getting worse before diagnosis.
Gabriel is one of the sweetest children I know. He is always telling those around him that he loves them and is very generous with his affection. He has a cheeky sense of humor and an infectious laugh.
This has made us cherish each and every day.

Our sweet little Addie was diagnosed with DIPG on Feb. 17th, 2021, just days before her first sister was due to arrive. At 8 years old, Addie was active and lively, while also still very shy. Within two weeks of symptoms, she was unable to walk, feed herself or use the bathroom.
Addie has completed 6 weeks of radiation and has gained back a lot of her functions. She is also starting a clinical trial soon and we are praying this continues to help her until DIPG has a cure.
The hardest part of Addie’s diagnosis for us has been the stress it causes on our family. Addie lives in Oklahoma with her mom and I live in Washington with my wife and three other kids. We visit Addie once a month for a week. I think the hardest part for Addie is the loss of her ability to do her favorite things like art, gymnastics, and play with animals.
