Raylene has always been a fighter since the day she was born. She came into this world a bit early and ready to take our hearts…and that she did. Raylene can light up a room with her joyful smile and she just loves everything and everybody.
On Januray 13th 2017, Raylene was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoid Leukemia. This heartbreaking news has been hard on our entire family. As a parent you can never emotionally prepare for something like this. It feels like your world just crumbled down. Raylene has been such an inspiration for me. She has taught me to be a better person, to take it day by day and just enjoy every day. Throughout all her weekly chemo treatments, blood transfusions, steriods, meds and at home shots; Raylene has been so brave. There are many times when she is not feeling well but she continues to live like a kid, playing barbies and riding her bike inside the house. Our Leukemia warrior has always had a big heart and so much strength!
